the feline residents in our house think everything we bring home is a new cat toy. right now the two bigger ones are chasing each other around some cardboard boxes filled with wine.

tomorrow i have to go to work and it is making me want to gag. ew.

not making me want to gag is the slightly greasy man who is cooking out my dinner. i actually like him quite a lot and he hardly ever makes me want to gag.

i should go and do something useful besides sit here and stare into the internets. like maybe drink some wine or turn on some music.

Hi summertime.

Lately have been exceedingly difficult to live with. As of this morning am officially in bad attitude rehabilitation.

For real.

There is a fresh peach cake in the oven, folk music on the radio, and the beginnings of a two week written notice to my job that I hate on the desk.

(My official end date will be the 26th. Then a little vacation. New dialysis nurse job starts on July the 7th.)

As soon as the cake is finished baking heading to the pool to test out my new tropical scent sunscreen and drink a quart or so of iced tea.

If you decide to come along please bring a couple of trashy magazines and a bowl of salty snack mix.
