Hiya.

Just got home from a job interview, put my pajamas back on, and made coffee. Also sliced the ends off a pumpernickel bagel, toasted them and ate them with a dollop of Cascade Fresh Mediterranean yogurt. This yogurt is one of my latest fixations. Somewhere between Greek yogurt and cream cheese - and delicious.

On one end of the bagel radish slices, salt, and pepper and on the other a drizzle of honey and dried cranberries.

The job interviewed for most likely they will offer me, but don't think I want. Ugh. Will think it over depending on the offer. Pretty much want the job I have now with a better schedule and it seems like this is the job I have now with a different but equally sucky schedule. Heh.

Chilly here and maybe that will convince me to stay inside and catch up on some chores instead of playing outside in the dirt. It's quite grey and so likely will stay in. Just a matter of whether or not that will mean I get anything done.

I am publicly stating it as my goal to:  1) soak and cook some white beans before the chard in the fridge goes goopy and 2) clean my closet at least until I find the pair of shoes I wanted to wear this morning to my interview and could not locate anywhere.

almost put hello ! but then realized am in much more of a hello. mood.

heh.

all the windows are open in our house and it is really quite lovely. we've been working in the backyard and planting vegetables and flowers and we have a pomegranate tree that we are going to plant soon.

also we are putting a deck up sometime in the next month and soon you can come over and hang out in our really cute little backyard.

in fact if you would like we will be having a genuine certified Texas barbecue in the backyard the first weekend of June to celebrate our getting married in May. there will also be cake and champagne and also coffee. yes ... coffee. it's to go with the cake and for your designated driver and also maybe my gramma.

we've unofficially been married for quite some time, y'all, but we're going to do the big legal and official thing and then have a party. i'm sending you an invite.

ok. that's all. want to tell you all about our recent vacation, my birthday, my job, etc. but it all seems quite tedious so going to leave it at the nice weather and the backyard and us getting hitched.
