Yesterday our wee apartment was packed full of a whole lot of lovin' as we celebrated my honey's birthday with oodles of friends and champagne and cupcakes ( chocolate and vanilla ).

Tonight we are headed out for more celebrating, but not too much as we both have to work early early tomorrow. I have a new dress and a pre-date date with the shower and some hair product.

Tomorrow will be my first day taking call at my not-so-new job. Eeep.

Hopefully they don't call me in to try and do something I don't know how to do yet.

Every one of my patients this week with some nasty blood-borne illness has manged to spray either HIV or Hep C or whatever their pathogen of choice is all over the damned floor.

Holla.

I'm drinking some beers and gearing up for the fourth day of work in a row tomorrow. Also am waiting for the guy who lives with me to get on home so we can get some chow.

Or I may just eat some crackers, have another beer, and call it.

Hello friends.

The percentage of my time eaten up by working lately is a little higher than I'm completely digging.

But gotsta make that paper.

Ha.

We have just been taking in fresh air and enjoying the dip in the temperature and making some damn fine Mexican food for a couple of white folks.

Today I dug out our Christmas stockings, bought some tiny blue lights to hang on the balcony, and there may be just enough time for me to snag a nap before my love gets home from work.
