I was in Kansas last week just in time for an ice storm. And for my mama to get her foot screwed back on to her leg. Poor mama.

Now back home and not complaining about the slightly cool weather or not having to go back to work until Saturday.

Bought some new action-adventure hiking shoes for our upcoming vacation to Santa Fe and am waiting for my love to get home then go break them in a bit on the walking trail.

Being back home is nice.

windy and there are supposed to be "scattered t-storms" moving in.

my head has been full of pressure and throbbing on and off for over a week.

our kitchen was invaded by tons and tons of ants over the weekend and it grosses me out.

after work yesterday the bones in my ankles were unhappy but today i had a pedicure that included lots of ankle bone massaging and now they are less unhappy.

tonight for dinner i am going to dump a buncha veggies in a pan with some sauces and pour them over rice.

tomorrow i am supposed to meet some people for coffee and hopefully they will want to be my friends.

hopefully !

The sun is out as per my request but work tomorrow is pushing in like an ugly black cloud.

Ick.

I wish my love would be home soon from work so we can take a walk and hold hands.

It is cold and wet and Cat just chucked it a few inches from where I am sitting.

My internet friend date yesterday was a wash, but maybe will be rescheduled. I was complaining to a certain someone about how lame it is to resort to the internets to meet people when this particular person reminded me how we met.

Right now at my job they are launching a new version of our medication documenting software. Bet it is total ass to be there about now. Luckily I get to find out just how much ass first thing tomorrow morning. Can't wait !

Spent the morning contemplating warm weather wardrobe purchases. A soft linen hat and a pair of ruffly bloomers.

Contemplating but not making because I gots no moneys.

I'd like a house with a tree and a garden and a porch with a swing.

I am meeting my new internet friends for a rainy day knitting coffee date.

They would probably appreciate it if I would wash the hospital funk out of my hair.

We have been having one last flirtation with cool weather before spring settles in to stay.

Have several shopping lists that need to be filled today in order for household functioning to continue. Stops include Petsmart, the grocery, and Target.

Currently just to my right lies a copy of 50 Great Curries of India that has me creating yet another list and plotting a trip to MGM Indian Foods for meals later in the week.

Since it seems all there is to report is the weather and daily tedium I'll leave you now to find some pants and start my lists.
