Drinking iced tea with big slices of Meyer lemon out of a mason jar. Quinoa simmering on the stove. It's my first time making it - hope it comes out alright.
We've been hitting Super Natural Cooking pretty hard around here lately. Some really solid, simple recipes that lend themselves well to tweaking and personalizing. I snagged my copy used on the cheap at Half Price Books. Win.
New Orleans is on the Travel Channel and it makes me want to go.

Asparagus, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, and Gruyere. We aren't actually eating it until dinner tomorrow - just cooked it today since I have to work all day. I hope it's good !

I LOVE both of Heidi Swanson's books!! I've never made anything I didn't like. Highly recommend the Otsu! and the dish I made a couple days ago with the asparagus/spinach pesto -- stray & hay. Yummz!!
