Itinerary

Tomorrow around noon we will be rolling out of Austin and straight up I-35. We'll be spending tomorrow and Thursday nights at a resort* just into Oklahoma. Temperatures are forecasted in the 70's and we are toting along our bicycles for some lazy miles.

Also plan on spending a good amount of time in a giant tub of steaming mineral water drinking mimosas.

Friday we will venture a bit further north for belated family holiday festivities and visiting.

Sunday is back south with a one night layover just into Texas.

Back home Monday.

The company and downtime should more than make up for the low key destinations.

* "Resort" is used quite loosely here. We are talking about Oklahoma after all.

Day four of an eleven day vacation.

The pet sitter came to scope thing out on Saturday and Wednesday my love will join me in not working and we will start our meandering up I-35.

Today I am staying in out of the cold drizzle and organizing the closet and making vacation supply shopping lists and thinking of packing.

I've yet to find the perfect music for this list of activities, but if you've any suggestions send them my way.

Slump

The last three days of work have left me completely drained physically and emotionally.

Ick.

Today I got up and took a shower with the idea of running some errands and giving the house a good scrubbing to start off the new year fresh and sparkly.

By the time I got home from the grocery and pet supply stores I could barely drag my bags up the three flights of stairs.

I climbed into bed and turned on the Cotton Bowl and just woke up to see that it is 4:00 in the afternoon.

I can't really completely wake up and now I think I'll crawl back under the covers.
